Nursery Controller & Heat Lamp
The GE-INFRA4 piglet house heat and dryer controller is essential during the early stage of farrowing. It supports 4 nurseries, each equipped with two heat lamps.
Using the GE-INFRA4 allows pig farmers to efficiently control the thermal comfort of each pen, ensuring their piglets’ wellbeing.
During farrowing, the operating program of the kennel and farrowing lamps can be activated either manually or automatically with the use of a birth detection sensor.
Regulated with an infrared temperature sensor (IRS-1), the nursery temperature is programmed to follow a precise comfort curve according to the piglets’ ages, while the farrowing lamp is automatically turned off after a pre-set operating time, starting on the day of farrowing.
